Club Competitions
The Club runs a comprehensive programme of Ladies’, Men’s, Mixed, Junior, Senior, Pairs, C&D, and Handicap competitions, offering members the opportunity to test their skills and enjoy the spirit of friendly competition throughout the season.
There are also the Ray Hedinburgh C&D Triples and the Club Triples — two separate one-day events, each completed on the day, with catering and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere throughout.
A Junior Singles competition is organised separately by Alan Blackley.
In addition to these fixtures, the Club also hosts the much-loved Jack Norman Trophy, held across ten Friday evenings from 6:00 pm. This event blends social bowling with friendly rivalry as members bring a plate to share and enjoy a few ends together. The emphasis is on community spirit, with a trophy awarded to the overall season champion.
There is something for everyone, whether you are competing for silverware or simply taking part in a well-organised and enjoyable game.
