At Holywell-cum-Needingworth Bowls Club, we’re passionate about introducing the next generation to the sport of bowls. Our Junior Section gives young players the chance to learn the game in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

Many of our juniors have gone on to compete successfully at county and national level — but just as importantly, they’ve developed a lifelong love of the game and the friendships that come with it.

 

Each season, we hold regular junior sessions and host special afternoons with pupils from Holywell Church of England Primary School in Needingworth. These visits are all about enjoyment — games, friendly competition, and an introduction to the skills and spirit of bowls.

We believe that bowls should be open to everyone, and our junior programme is designed to make sure young players feel welcome, confident and inspired to take part.
